Naismith Men's Shed - Almonte, Ontario

Location: Almonte, Ontario (aka: Mississippi Mills)

Meetings: 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at Mamma’s Restaurant for breakfast at 8:00 a.m.
Meetings: 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at Mill of Kintail gatehouse board room 10 a.m. to 12 noon

The photo above features many of our shed members in front of our shed located at the Mill of Kintail Conservation Area. We are the custodians of this building, located at the gate of the mill property and referred to as “the garage”, and just repainted by the shedders. Over eighty years ago it served to garage the car driven by the local celebrated artist and sculpter, Robert Tait-McKenzie who used the mill as his home and studio.
